I would call that Idado policy "engine off/drive up", not "no power loading allowed".

Everyone turn off their engine, tilt the drive up to the trailer position and walk their boat into the back of the winch hook using lines?

That is the only requirement that is different from other location I have lived.

Yes, everyone is supposed to walk/winch the boat onto the trailer here.

Yes, in fact it is a county law. I believe in other counties of the state you can drive all the way onto the trailer.

I drive on, but boat mostly on a river, tougher to walk it on with a current.

My wife can't drive the boat any better than she can drive the truck.. Ain't gonna happen.. I go to the back of the dock, tie up go get the truck, wait my turn, back down and pull the boat on. I get a little wet snatching the bow eye, then crank away on the winch, get in the truck and get out of the way.

Unloading is pretty much the same, cept I don't get wet back it down undo the bow clip, I push and the misses pulls the lines and gets it to the farthest point on the dock out of the way while I go park the truck..

Because of the way I do it, I've had to wait a few minutes. I don't mind as I know I'm slower than most. I let others who look like they know what they're doing go first.

Now, if I went somewhere where there isn't a dock.. hmmm,,, what to do what to do... So far hasn't come up. I guess if it does, ingenuity will take over... help

I like the idea of this product. If only I could afford it..

Its like most new inventions, priced to get a return on investment and time.
